Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data I process in connection with fakturai.pl, why, and what rights you have. The site is informational: it has no user accounts, payments or analytics. I collect personal data only when you send the contact form or email me.

1. Controller

The controller of your personal data is:

2. What data I process

• Contact form: your name and email address (required) and, if you provide them, your company name, phone number, details of the system you want to connect, and your message. I also record the address of the page the form was sent from.
• Email correspondence: your email address, the message and any data you include in it.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request details (e.g. time, page address, browser type), which the server processes whenever a page is displayed.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Replying to your message and further correspondence — the controller's legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you ask about entering into a contract, the basis is also taking steps at your request prior to entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Protecting the site against abuse (e.g. limiting how many messages one IP address can send, detecting automated submissions) — the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims — the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If we go on to sign an agreement for integration work, I will process the data needed to perform it under that agreement and tax law, and I will inform you about this separately.

4. Do you have to provide data

Providing data is voluntary. Without your name and email address, however, I cannot reply to a form message.

5. Who receives the data

The data is processed on my behalf by the service providers the site uses:

• Vercel Inc. (USA) — website hosting,
• Resend (USA) — technical delivery of form messages to my mailbox,
• the provider of the email service in which I keep my correspondence.

Data may also be disclosed to bodies entitled to it by law, such as public authorities. I do not sell data or share it for marketing purposes.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Vercel and Resend are based in the USA, so your data may be processed in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for companies certified under it, and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask me for information about these safeguards.

7. How long I keep data

• Form messages and correspondence — up to 12 months after our last contact, unless we sign an agreement (then for its duration and until the limitation periods for claims expire) or you successfully object to the processing earlier.
• IP addresses for the message limit — only in server memory, for at most one hour.
• Technical server logs — for a short period set by the hosting provider.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• access your data and receive a copy,
• have your data rectified,
• have your data erased,
• restrict processing,
• object to processing based on the controller's legitimate interest,
• data portability — to the extent I process the data under a contract or pre-contractual steps.

To exercise these rights, write to kontakt@fakturai.pl. I will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland, uodo.gov.pl).

9. Automated decisions

I do not make automated decisions about you and do not profile you.

10. Cookies

The site uses one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers the language you chose. It is set only when you choose a language and expires after one year. It is not used for tracking, analytics or advertising, and the site uses no third-party cookies. Because it only remembers a setting you asked for, the site shows no consent banner. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

11. Changes to this policy

If the way data is processed changes, I will update this policy and the date at the top. The current version is always available at fakturai.pl/polityka-prywatnosci.
